Happy (Feelings Cards)

Feeling or showing pleasure or contentment.

Happiness is what we could call a base emotion like sadness, anger, fear, to name a few, from which the rest of the feelings stem. We can define happy as: feeling or showing pleasure or contentment. Here are many emotions which stem from happy: amused, blissful, cheerful, delighted, ecstatic, elated, giddy, glad, jolly, joyful, jubilant, merry, overjoyed, pleased, rapturous, tickled. Each feeling holds a particular meaning and the more we expand our vocabulary the more we are able to understand our emotions. For example, what is the difference between joy and happiness? I read somewhere "Happiness is a destination and joy is an attitude." Happiness can sometimes rely on expectations, something long term whereas joy is always lived in the moment, joy is somehow a more vibrant emotion.

Example: When looking back on what she had achieved she felt very happy.
