My definition of euphoric is: the ultimate feeling of happiness. Just reading the word gives some kind of positive energy. The Oxford dictionary’s definition is "an extremely strong feeling of happiness and excitement that usually lasts only a short time."

Euphoric is a step further than enthusiastic. We could say it contains the feelings of joy, happiness and excitement. This feeling is so intense that it usually doesn’t last very long but I would say it leaves you traces of joy.
