Having a strong feeling of or showing annoyance, displeasure, or hostility; full of anger.
Anger is a very particular feeling because it is a feeling that is commonly authorized to have unlike sadness or fear. We tell children don’t be sad, don’t be scared, we don’t say don’t be angry. In NVC, entire workshop of several days are dedicated to anger. That is how important this feeling is. We can define it as: having a strong feeling of or showing annoyance, displeasure, or hostility. But it is so much more than that. Anger very commonly hides other underlying feelings including among others sadness, depression or shame.
Example: They feel angry that their complaints were ignored.
