Feeling disappointed is feeling unhappy because what was hoped or wished for did not happen. Disappointment is a form of sadness. And each day, we go through many little (or bigger disappointment). Being aware of them is giving ourselves a chance to enjoy more happiness. Awareness brings acceptance. Without awareness, disappointment piles-up. When the end of the day arrives and we end up yelling at our partner because they didn’t wash the dishes even though they promised they would. In this particular situation, do we really have a need for order or do we just need acceptance for the many times we were disappointed during the day?
